My 50 Honourable Mentions for the #TheTwen2ie5. Liked the idea of choosing only tracks mentioned in others main lists but couldn't this time. These are based on most plays via Last.fm and as usual for me a few instrumentals (in italic) and remixes (tho unlikely to catch others ears much) do well.

This is a really special little thing.

Watch it now or perhaps just before bed.

F your borders. We need a GHS - Global Health Service, funded by tax all over the world, UN protected, run by the people for the people, wherever you are whoever you are.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

A masterpiece music video (fit for the song) and not JUST because of a rollerskating chimp.
35 years ago in November 1990, PSB released “Being boring” as the 2nd single from their 4th studio album, “Behaviour”. The song was inspired by a party invitation from Neil’s Newcastle days which quoted Zelda Fitzgerald’s line “She was never bored, mainly because she was never boring”.

I've reached the first big concept episode of Moonlighting (with Orson Welles intro and the 40s 'Blue Moon' black and white scenes which I do remember seeing at the time). The second earliest ep I remember after the train one.

Incredibly annoying disappearance of dozens of not-yet-uploaded photos on my phone after latest Samsung OS update. Wonder if anyone else has experienced this? Very specific to only photos on the camera that I hadn't yet added to Flickr.

Did 'Josephine' by Chris Rea at karaoke earlier as I had a frog in my throat :) pleasantly surprised to see it on the list although it wasn't La Version Francaise that I could tell but a faster, less good rendering.

Good to see the 'Teddy Perkins' episode of Atlanta in here although there are at least three other episodes of that show you could probably include. www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio...

Watching HIGHLANDER on iPlayer having realised that, despite friends often quoting it at school, no I have never actually watched it start to end :o

Got to say the '1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything' series on Apple is v enjoyable, interesting and inspiring, esp. the Funk and Soul focus episodes. Love all the footage of these paragons in their prime.

I've never seen Horrible Histories before and tho clearly generally aimed at kids this one has a cute homage to the 'Subterranean Homesick Blues' video, y'know, as a treat for any watching...grandparents.

Didn't expect Simone to be this much more relaxed and trusting so soon after we got back from holiday. Sterling work.

Had a delightful evening with a couple of friends in Sutton Arms, one of my favourite Central London pubs. Maybe the place being half empty both at 5.30 and at 9.30 was a factor too..

Badly Drawn Boy - The Hour Of Bewilderbeest. He had his moments but barely enough for an EP come now.
What albums does everyone regret buying? Loads for me, but the one that really sticks in my mind is K by Kula Shaker, which I forced myself to listen to joylessly several times in the desperate attempt to convince myself I hadn’t wasted my money, and still get cringes of regret about 29 years later.
It's one of the few albums I regret buying.
I'll Manage Somehow and Stardust are fine. The rest is mostly forgettable.

The 10 minute mix of 'The Crown' might be my favourite extended 80s groove and that's even before the blistering Stevie verse. GB's own generally charming verses might veer into naffness now and then but the chorus emphatically rights all wrongs.
