Columbia is replacing union labor as we negotiate a new contract.

Admin is emailing other universities to recruit teachers, while refusing to reappoint returning SWC instructors, who still don't know if they will teach or get paid in September.

Duke AAUP is standing up against Duke's preemptive layoffs.

We call on Duke University and its board of trustees to immediately halt the separation process and layoff plans until faculty and staff representatives can be fully involved in any decision process that would impact Duke’s mission.

Faculty at Michigan State University have become the latest in the Big Ten to urge conference leaders to create a "mutual defense compact" against the Trump administration amid its aggressive campaign to reshape higher education in its image.
