Recently, while in Tallinn, Estonia 🇪🇪 I visited their freedom museum Vabamu. After escaping from Soviet occupation, all the Baltics have these museums. These museums were very moving. This passage (highlights added by me) froze me in my tracks as I read them. I have thought about it often since.

This has all been self inflicted. We could have done literally nothing and had better results than this. We have discovered that we are not who we say we are. The stories we have told ourselves were not true.

So I posted this 6 months ago. Now we’re back to giving in to Russia (is there any doubt that’s what will happen?). The absolute worst timeline. Stop the world. I wanna get off.
Watched that Hegseth brief yesterday before 47 gave his capitulation to Putin. Gave away the farm before negotiations even began. Heartbroken for what it means to Ukraine and further crushed by what it means for US, our allies & the entire post-WWII order.

I don’t really need anything, but I’m gonna stop by the pharmacy today to get some medicine and some money back (they’re paying us to get Rx, right?) so I can grab some $1.98 gas! So much winning!

A few years ago, we went to Tallinn, Estonia 🇪🇪 and saw this monument to Estonians sent to Stalinist camps. Hopefully we never have to build something like that here.

I just got a notification that BluSky has just upped its word character limit to 299 characters just for today. In honor of Senator Booker I thought I would fill all of this space to symbolically filibuster in this space as well. Wait, it’s April 1st! I’m sure that’s just a coincidence isn’t it?!
