I almost had a pension at my current job, but they switched to defined contribution in the early 2000s. I do get generous matches with what amounts to a 8-9% match. I only wished they would have added the Roth account earlier.
So, he wants to bring back pensions. It didn't work the first time around because businesses didn't want to be responsible for funding workers retirement.

If this is such a good idea, why aren't more people talking about it? This article comes across as GOP propaganda to me. Also, maybe just do medicare for all?
