Y'know I've complained about this app a lot for being shit and all, but I had to open twitter today and forgot just how bad it can be, I'll take cringe liberals and bad management over just about anything on twitter, even people that agree with me on everything are deeply insufferable there.

What's great about YouTube comments is you can click on literally any video and just find a crazy person extremely quick.

Who would have guessed that if you make countless videos and streams about one irrelevant person with bad media takes, that you're going to end up in community with weirdos. Normal people don't do that. We should not respect any creator obsessed with another, no matter how shitty the target.

Really interesting how easy it is to predict how insane someone is based on how much they talk about Hasan Piker. Not trying to say he should be free from criticism or anything, but I barely see anyone remotely normal ever do it.

Going to share a few thoughts on the Re4 HD project and graphics mods in general. Wanted to talk about it for a while but in a way that wouldn't seem like I'm shitting all over the hard work that went in, because I'm in the minority of people who don't really like it.

I'm not the first person to say this but it really seems like media discourse eventually rots your brain, I don't think there's a single essayist who's main thing is just responding to people that doesn't scare me a little. Especially if they respond to criticism of themselves.

I have overcomplicated Cai's Home video production a lot recently, I wonder how much easier it would be if I was still using the blood background and static png stills. I genuinely think it would be harder because it so much less creatively fulfilling and is very tiring to edit video after video.

People might not know this, but Cai’s Home videos are split into series, roughly three videos each. The difference between series used to be somewhat minuscule, mostly just vague themes, but that’s changing now, where each one will be identifiably different.

Depending on who the algorithm sends my next video to, I could either have the most normal comment section in Cai's Home history or it'll be entirely insane again. For my own mental health I am really hoping it'll be normal people this time good lord.

GTA 6 getting delayed again which is deeply funny and all, but I'm certain it means people are going to be far more focused on the fact the game was delayed, and not why. It's because Rockstar are an awful, evil company accused of union busting and therefore fired many important employees.

I am not sure there will be a video in November. For whatever reason, despite nothing bad actually happening, the last video caused me to have a pretty bad panic attack after release, and it has been very difficult to use my free time to work on the next one.

Wrote a very short piece that I can't turn into a video, not sure what the best way to share it is? Bluesky doesn't have a way of embedding a document like that for people to download.

A unique trait of the internet that I find both depressing and fascinating is the ability to watch someone lose their mind, especially with streamers who stream or upload clips constantly, it is a very uncomfortable feeling to be able to see someone slowly dive off the deep end.

I may start live streaming soon... I feel like my issue is I could never do it unironically, I can only imagine playing really bad games on stream and treating the whole thing as a joke. Which would be fun! But could get tiring very quickly... hrrrm. I have an idea for the first stream...

It is somewhat incredible to me, that in 2025 we're still doing like EPIC ULTRA GRAPHICS GTA RAY TRACING shit, I'm not going to say it looks terrible, but whenever I see people talk about it as some sort of upgrade, it just kinda sucks. People are so against playing games as they are intended.

It is somewhat incredible to me, that in 2025 we're still doing like EPIC ULTRA GRAPHICS GTA RAY TRACING shit, I'm not going to say it looks terrible, but whenever I see people talk about it as some sort of upgrade, it just kinda sucks. People are so against playing games as they are intended.
Maybe I am just a particularly slow writer or editor, but I am always very suspicious of 'video essayists' who can upload frequently, especially if they make videos the same length as mine. I think people underestimate how long simple edits take, it adds up over the course of a 40+ minute video.

Sorry to vague post, but my god. I felt bad after bringing one guy up 3 times, I am not sure how a certain video essayist can dedicate so much of their entire life to talking about one person, even if that person sucks and is wrong or whatever, at some point you have to let go and be a normal adult.
