If I remove Cinderella Gray, then shoutout to Apocalypse Hotel being the surprise hit of the season - effortlessly covering multiple genres while maintaining a ridiculous comedic style tempered by melancholy.

It’s funny, back in the Twitter days I could definitely say I was dependent on it for dopamine, but after going cold turkey my whole need for social media kinda went with it.

I don’t think I’ll ever see a reaction as frenzied or emotional as the announcement of Stay Gold in the recent Umamusume 6th event concert, “New Frontier”.
The closest equivalent I can think of is announcing the return of Olga Marie in FGO, or Belial being playable in GBF.

I get asked this a lot by people outside of my hobbies, and saying “I love it” only gets you so far.
But for those who aren’t invested in JP entertainment the concept of events as a reason to go is difficult to get across.

Umamusume Cinderella Gray takes place in the Aichi area, and one of the collabs involved a stamp rally at various train stations on the Meitetsu line. A nice way to visit some of the major spots in the prologue of the series!

I’ve been watching reaction videos of Cinderella Gray, something I usually don’t do as most of the time I consider it low effort content. But anything to boost visibility of the franchise (more views = more exposure to audiences in general)

I wish I was eloquent enough to convey how full my heart has been with the Cinderella Gray anime, eps 5 - 6 in particular. I could describe it rationally: the blend of sports drama anchored by historical accuracy, the wonderful musical score, the tight pacing.

Finally had the chance to start watching Orb; it feels like the type of show that appeals to two types of people:
Normies that don’t watch anime but are open to new things (so Netflix a good choice to put it on)
People who have watched a LOT of anime and crave something different in the medium.

I used to be one of those people that downplayed their birthday and never mentioned it.
But last May thanks to a certain movie I started an effort to improve myself physically and mentally. Cliche as it is, loving yourself is a part of that.
