I’m loving my new vintage coffee cups. They arrived just in time for my birthday.

You know, I was feeling rather under the weather lately until I heard @cakejumper.bsky.social said, "Stop saying benis" to chat while playing wordle. I'm still laughing about this.

At some point I'm going to have to get a router to do the nice edges for my antique dresser repair and now I'm fantasizing about all the weird things I can do with base molding.

I was searching through a box of sewing odds and ends that I gathered at my aunts house weeks ago, only now realizing I had a zigzag attachment and a hemstitcher. The hemstitcher is super fascinating to me. I didn’t know it existed and I’m looking forward to trying it out.

I have been going through my aunt's old PC games and selling the ones I don't want. I've wanted to build a collection of video games boxes for a long while, but they market for them has become increasingly competitive. Much like antique toys, many of these boxes don't survive in good condition.

I've been playing Blue Prints a lot recently and have been really enjoying it. I managed to get 48 coins and froze over for the next day. But now I'm afraid to start up my game again because I don't when I'll be able to start off a day with that much gold again.

Well, after days of sanding and scrubbing I’ve decided to just replace the damaged parts of the dresser. I expected this would likely need to happen but I had to try at the very least.

I’m feeling very hopefully about saving this thing.

Infocom frequently included fun little items with their games, such as booklets and papers and other little novelties, they referred to as “feelies.” The one I desire most to own is the coveted US-minted Zorkmid coin. The one that creeps me out the most is this rubber insect.

Using a combination of Odorcide, Murthy’s oil soap, and good old sanding, I seem to be making some progress with this antique dresser. I have had a lot of success with Odorcide and cat urine, so I’m hoping it can help here as well. Wish me luck!
