learning now: previously freed instance != null. it's only because of an engine bug that gdscript evaluates it to null. the object still exists in memory waiting to be overwritten.

Evangelion is lot of things, but it's really about observing Anno slowly bleeding money and sanity over the course of the series
ragebait aside (bro is in it for the love of the game, respect) the steam user tags are actually pretty awful and should be removed.
It's incredibly messed up that Steam users can define and add tags that feed the developer's ego. Game tags should be about facts and the genre of the game and not the whatever the fans think these narcissistic developers would like.

I think Elden Rings open structure really did a lot to neuter it considering even finding certain bosses in a certain order makes them way tougher or easier, and the entire structure of the game is based around leaving and then coming back later with few exceptions.
I feel like the git gud mentality is finally starting to go away but maybe I'm just in healthy spaces or something

Even though post moderation is opt-in, it does raise some questions about how default word filters are chosen.

Yeah Steam's review process needs a full blown overhaul. No clarification, barely any communication, not providing any path forward to deal business with them, but they're more than happy to allow straight up malware to be uploaded through SteamWorks. Crazy hamburger!
