Still baffles me that George Lucas felt that a guy who chopped up children and blew up a planet could be redeemed through a single act of love and get to be a cool ghost...but that a petty crook who'd kill someone trying to kidnap him at gunpoint was just too unheroic for a feel-good redemption arc.

Here's something fun you can deploy when MAGA shitstains make gross MAGA comments under local news stories, in your family's Thanksgiving planning group-chat, etc.
Probably extra-useful against female MAGAs (for obvious reasons) but there's no reason it can't be used on the male variety as well.

I'm an omnivore who was with a vegetarian for many years and it turns out that wanting to cook for someone you care about is a great motivator to get much better and more mindful about cooking vegetables.
Every omnivore should do that.

Gethsemani Farms is run by Trappist monks. They make nice chocolate, cheese, and fruitcake. Thomas Merton was a member. I used to visit their abbey occasionally.
