Of course the residents of Suffolk will ultimately have no say in this - it's all down to ministers (inc PM). But I can't help feeling it will be economics (ie lowest cost) rather than politics that decide it. www.eadt.co.uk/news/2545095...

Congratulations to @eddavey.libdems.org.uk for calling out @bbcnews.bsky.social for their failure to call out Farage's lies and mistruths on Breakfast news today. Their failure to challenge Farage's racist and climate views over the last year has contributed to party's surge in polls.

Didn't have great hopes for @ipswichtown.bsky.social today, but I had hoped that @lfcr.bsky.social would have the decency to open the scoring against us with one of the many of their players I have in my Fantasy League team!

Farage's comments about immigrants making it more difficult to see a GP is outrageous. When did he last see an NHS GP? Without immigration they'd be far fewer GPs, far fewer hospital doctors, far fewer nurses and healthcare assistants. Then we'd all be really stuffed!
