A rural Web Developer lost in the wilds of Canada
This is my belief as well. Most usage of models in the future will be invisible to the user and locally run.
Within the next 5 years most people on the planet will run inference locally on their device using mostly open source and distilled models.

The massive scale OpenAI and nVidia megaprojects being developed likely only used for training and maybe government scale science, infra, and war related tasks

Quality of life
Limited lives used to be a staple of video games. Until we got rid of them as a Quality of Life change. Until they came back again when we realized it's not that clear cut

How did I sleep of "fish" shell for so long. Thanks @b0rk.jvns.ca for the suggestion. Not directly suggested to be clear, just their posts about shells was mentioning fish on occasion and so glad I started looking into it. Total game changer for the command line.

Balatro is super fun! I completed a run on my second try. Not sure if I was lucky or good though. Guess I'll have to try again on the next difficulty level.
