Two weeks ago, I made the decision to leave Bkom Studios to pursue another opportunity. Leaving a team is always hard even when it's for positive reasons, working on Pathfinder Abomination Vaults bosses was a privilege.

On Monday, a new chapter in my career begins. Can't wait to share more 😁

After months of Employment Insurance, this morning I filled my last (hopefully ever) form because I started a new full time position last week.

It's been a rough 6-7 months since the closure of Sweet Bandits, a reality that is sadly shared by so many people in the industry right now. Hang in there!

Never let anyone tell you pro wrestling isn't cool. If you're unsure, watch this and get roped in, even without context you feel the aura.

Pro wrestling is a weird world, filled with creativity and athleticism. It's never been easier to find a company that you like and just start watching!

Suikoden V to me is the best iteration of the Suikoden series. It came out at the end of the lifespan of the PS2 and after a poorly received IV.

Best iteration of the Runes system, best overall cast, good political plot, IMO best take on a silent protagonist. One of the best RPGs ever made.

Finished The Roottrees are Dead, it was an absolutely stellar investigation game. Research was super intuitive and immersive, the story is poignant. Was able to go through it all without using clues once, everything is there. Some of it you have to dig a lot!

Just noticed that 428 Shibuya Scramble is on a massive sale right now on Steam. Strongly urging you to get it if you're any way interested in Visual Novels. One of the best story-driven games I've ever played.

I've been experimenting a bit with Age of Empires 2 Definitve Edition these past few days, it's really out of my comfort zone because of how fast paced it is but I like to challenge myself in games, makes me discover new things.

The campaign mission "INTO CHINA" is currently kicking my ass.

For a while it felt like we had some sort of an epidemic of people that never gave their opinion about anything and mostly quoted videos or when you asked what they thought of something they'd link you a video essay.

Now, we're seeing more and more people say variants of "ChatGPT told me ..."

Not sure if it's me cherry picking but it feels like a lot of the time when a celebrity dies old, the majority of the pictures we see shared by media or used as thumbnails in video is always pictures of when they were young.

Double dipping in the latest Shiren game, here we go again. I strongly suggest playing this if you haven't, extremely well designed roguelike with tons of dungeons to explore, crazy weapons&items to figure out how to use and enemies to kill you when you feel the run is going perfectly.

It has been a rough month but even in all this darkness, there's still some sunlight.

I'm 1445 days sober. In a little more than 2 weeks I'll have reached 4 years since my last relapse. #sobriety

Please take the time to appreciate what you have. Tell the people around you how much you enjoy being around them. If you're like me and more introverted, try to at least spend a bit more time with them from time to time.

Sometimes you just wake up and a lot of it is gone.

Finished the first season of Frieren.

Urging everyone to watch this, even if you're not that much into fantasy. I've rarely watched anything that treated the concept of grief so beautifully.

Facebook's "On this day ..." feature is really hell bent on making me remember some toxic relationships these past few days. Today is the first day in a while where it hasn't bummed me out.

Reading this all back with hindsight really put in perspective how much happier I am today.

Been watching Frieren these past few weeks and it makes me so damn emotional.

The way they treat the passage of time just absolutely wrecks me every time. You go from laughing to crying in an instant. It's an amazing show!
