Please, please help me. Open this post for info. 👇🏻 I'm so scared about having enough food and resources to survive.
Consider helping me cover my Walmart grocery bills and my Chewy membership. I'm terrified and I don't know if SNAP will come through next month. Don't let me go hungry.

Sort of stunning how much this framing helps.
Today is a good reminder that the elites of both parties collapsed and capitulated with fascism selling us all out but the average population has not.

Remember: If we allow ourselves to fall into fatalism, or wallow in disappointment, or become resigned to what is rather than what should be, we will lose the long game.

The greatest enemy of positive social change is cynicism about what can be changed.

Do you know your government banned us from our ceremonies, songs, medicines, prayers, language, and dances? For GENERATIONS?

And Native people only got the "right" to our practices again in 1978? After decades of suppression?

The First Amendment never applied to us.

We tried to warn you.

I’m so close to being licensed that I can taste it, and tonight I figured out the absolutely perfect name and tagline for my future private practice. This all feels so fragile but I am *so* excited.

Long ago, a stone felt a tingle on its skin. Moss.
A new feeling. A green feeling.
The granite spoke of ages in the heat of deep Earth.
The moss sang the taste of sunlight and the softness of salamander bellies.
They named one another. And told those names to no one at all.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

After the hunks of summer have gone..."

I would like for wealthy people excited for tax cuts to sign a piece of paper acknowledging that every dollar they get in tax breaks is going to be paid for by someone else…either someone not getting healthcare or SNAP or some future person paying higher taxes to pay the interest on our new debt.
