Eine Sache, die in unserer Jahresauswertung drin steckt aber noch nicht prominent diskutiert wurde: Der Bruttostromverbrauch in Deutschland ist seit 2010 von 617 TWh auf 523 TWh in 2023 gesunken. Wir haben also seit 2010 erheblich „Platz“ für die Elektrifizierung geschaffen. Ja, ein Teil der Senkung

Wenn man bedenkt, dass die zusätzlich zu den direkten Emissionen ausgelöste Klimawirkung des von Deutschland ausgehenden Flugverkehrs rund 50 Mio. Tonnen CO2 Equivalent entspricht, sind Fortschritte hier sehr willkommen.

Wenn man bedenkt, dass die zusätzlich zu den direkten Emissionen ausgelöste Klimawirkung des von Deutschland ausgehenden Flugverkehrs rund 50 Mio. Tonnen CO2 Equivalent entspricht, sind Fortschritte hier sehr willkommen.

Green Methanol seems to gain some ground in the debate what is the right seasonal energy storage solution for providing back-up in RES based power systems. Maybe also district heating? Some co-benefits may be achieved considering the MTO route for producing high value chemicals.
