I loved having @roycoopernc.bsky.social as my governor and having @wileynickel.com as my US representative and was proud to support him in his campaign to defeat Tillis, but seeing this makes me have faith that people care more about this state and country than their own ambitions.
Enjoyed meeting with former Congressman Wiley Nickel and receiving his strong endorsement.

Many of us saw this coming and were ignored. While GOP cowards bear most of the blame, the Democrats’ failure of imagination and refusal to heed outside warnings are also major factors.
Today they have crossed a deep red line.

We, the people, must hold the president and his appointees accountable for this outrageous abuse against American liberty.

Germany’s Chancellor Merz presented Trump the birth certificate of his German grandfather, Friedrich Trump.

It was a clever jab to remind Trump he’s a German immigrant.

Let’s break this down—because the gaslighting is wild:

📌Oct 2022 – Biden signs EO to cut drug prices

📌Jan 2025 – Trump takes office and kills Biden’s EO to cut drug prices

📌May 2025 – Trump signs his own EO to lower drug prices

Trump canceled Biden’s plan then brought it back w/his name on it.

What happened to Executive Order 14120 signed by Biden in March 2024 to expand women's health research? It isn't listed as formally rescinded by Trump but 404s on Whitehouse.gov - women's health is now DEI, too? 🙄🖕🏼

If you're going to keep playing the Kennedy Center while claiming yourself as an ally, then this is the kind of active resistance you damn well better be prepared to engage in.

Way to go Guster. Gonna go listen to "Airport Song" and "Barrel of a Gun" in appreciation
EXCLUSIVE: Tonight at the Kennedy Center, Guster brought on cast members from Finn, an LGBTQ+ kids musical that was recently canceled when Trump took over the center. They performed the band’s song “Hard Times” to a standing ovation.
