Here's a nice tip for buying a used laptop:
If it's a relatively modern unit and it ever had Windows 11 installed on it, even if it comes with no hard drive or a blank hard drive all you have to do is run the Windows 11 installer from a USB key.
It'll install an activated copy of Windows 11, free.

I have never felt this way but anime nerds under 30 have this “I am anime fan so I have to watch it all” bullshit mentality that got weird 15 years ago when I heard people were watching at 1.5 and 2 times normal speed to get things in. Saying “i am an anime fan” is like saying “i am a fan of TV”
