Regardless of politics, we can all agree that no one deserves to starve to death. That is why Flying Saucer Tea donated to World Central Kitchen this week. @wck.org is an organization that prepares fresh meals for people in places where there are humanitarian crises or natural disasters.

One of the reasons I love loose tea, as well as the disposable hemp filters we sell for those on-the-go: they're plastic free!
⬇️ microplastic consumption:

🔹️drink tap water vs. bottled

🔹️ditch tupperware & plastic packaging (inc. lined cans)

🔹️microwave in glass

🔹️skip processed food; + processed means + microplastics (fancy salts, too; see below)

🔹️tea: go loose leaf/cellulose bags

Loose leaf tea is a relatively cheap little luxury. But because can use some tea multiple times, can control how strong you want it, and there's less packaging, it's less impact on the environment. Double win.
