I’m going to regret asking this, but #YouTubers and anyone who uses #YouTube - what’s it like over there now that the AI age verification thing is happening. I switched to #PeerTube the day it first went live, so I’m blissfully out of the loop.

Ok cat question: how do I get my cat to use a scratching board, and what are your recommendations? I ask because my cat scratched me (I’m fine, he had a vet visit yesterday so his shots are in order) and while I could trim his claws, I would rather not. More info in the Alt text

I know this might not get any traction for multiple reasons, but if anyone knows any good mutual aid organizations, regardless of location, now might be a good time to talk about them (and/or donate/volunteer whenever possible)

Ok, just for reference, what exactly is going to be affected by Trump’s tarrifs? Because I looked them up online and I don’t like the fact that vaccines are on the list!

I was asked recently with the tariffs coming up what electronics to get first: The first thing to get: replace *all* lithium batteries that are 2+ years old. You should be doing this anyway. Spicy pillows and lithium fires are no joke. Second thing: Backup smartphone. Doesn't have to be (01/??)
