Wish I had more time to work on free things, honestly. Even ignoring the numerous smaller stories I've scrapped because of complete lack of time, I'm like... right at the end of this next big story I've been working on since Fish Scales ended. But, I haven't had the time to write the last bit.

What if I wrote like little short stories to fill in tiny bits of the gaps between time frames in Fish Scales; stuff like showing a bit more development between Itsuki and Masako, a bit more of the stuff with Feather... etcetera?

Progress update on the next story:
Of the 15 chapters I have planned (subject to change), I have written 8. Of those 8, 7 have been proofread by me, and I think 5 or 6 have been proofread by Steven. 0 chapter covers have been drawn.

I have spent the last few days wanting to draw super vague art of a lot of story arcs in my series again, but I really don't wanna accidentally make something too obvious and spoil part of any stories.

On that note, I just finalized the plans for the last two chapters of the new story. So, all that's left is for me to follow my plans and continue writing. I'm feeling pretty great right now!

I can't wait to continue writing soon. The chapters that I have written of the next story are already some of my best writing yet. I just hope nobody minds a little return trip happening.

Guess who finally started writing again tonight!!
I can't promise the story will release any time soon, because I'd rather get everything done FIRST this time before I start releasing chapters, just to make sure there isn't a massive gap between releases.

Finally took the time to move the first batch of extras over, starting with the logo for the story, the cover template, and every version of the chapter covers without the template or the color filters. Enjoy seeing all of the beautiful colors of the cast (and my shortcuts)!

Passing thought:
When I work on this next story, I'm not limiting myself. With Fish Scales, I generally tried to stay around 12 to 16 pages per chapter. But, that felt a bit short a lot of the time, so some chapters may just be longer than others with this next one.

I am obsessively thinking about stories and character stuff today. I think I'm actually excited to (hopefully) start the next story soon, beyond the prologue I already wrote yesterday.
