Presenting world-class performing arts in an architecturally bold and dynamic environment in New York’s Hudson Valley. fishercenter.bard.edu
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Frank Gehry (1929 – 2025), architect of the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Bard College. We owe him an incalculable debt of gratitude, and will honor his memory for as long as live performance flourishes at the Fisher Center.

We are excited to announce that the we have been awarded a grant by the New York State Council on the Arts for FY26.

Attended another splendid music event @fishercenterbard: Bohuslav Martinů’s brilliant, absurdist/surreal opera, Julietta (1938). With its magnificent score performed by the American Symphony Orchestra–Leon Botstein conducting, powerful singers, and opera buffa counterpoints, it was, well, a dream.
