I’ll add that I find it hard to trust journalists who deny their own agency. If you have a significant platform, you can’t go “Well, we have to talk about it because the press has decided it is a big issue.”

I think it’d be better if we didn’t let the publicity tours for books written for a parallel universe in which Harris is president set the agenda for how we spend our limited resources.
