Hope it's not too late to post my best 11 for Liga Super last year.

Havertz LCM always provide more interchange dynamics.

Would love to see MLS push a bit high, as opposed to Jesus dropping deep.

1) More men in the box and more links centrally
2) Release Martinelli, increase LHS eff
3) Partey-Saliba-Gabriel is good enough rest defense

With this lineup I think the hinge point is giving Havertz total freedom to combine horizontally and centrally. Second half Merino showed the way. Can’t tell you how important it was to keeping the box occupied and letting Ødegaard cook from deep.

My model put a Partey-Saliba-Gabriel-MLS combination as a top 9. Not that confidence especially when Kiwior replacing Gabi.

But still very much excited to see MLS and his dynamics in the LHS with Merino & Martinelli.

This chart kinda sums up the stage of progression of NJ compared to TCH. NJ didn't find yet a set of reliable cores yet - he was still experimenting and making a few tweaks, which is understandable in this stage of his tenure

So we can see more minutes spread out across more players.

Seen this link a fair bit, so: here are my thoughts from scouting Zubimendi in the summer.

Tbh, I love him. But worry him and Rice in the same midfield would be an inefficient use of at least one of them and would cap the offensive potential from midfield.
