Stephen Miller is seeing these numbers and telling Trump that he needs a war. I’m not joking. Trump and the rest of the scum have too much at stake to rely on hating trans people. Congressional Dems should be cutting that off now by …

Today in 1952, the Boston Globe published an article by science writer Michael Amrine sharing the news that the hydrogen bomb—successfully tested for the first time 18 days earlier but not yet deployed—would enable the United States to conduct mass slaughter for the low, low cost of $1 per person.

Treasury secretary on saving money handed out by the government, while wearing a police jacket.
Q: Would a $2,000 tariff dividend check going to people be inflationary?

Bessent: Maybe we could persuade Americans to save that.

"Things happen" sometimes, like when you walk into an embassy to apply for your marriage license while your bride-to-be waits outside, but then you get bonesawed to pieces for having exercised freedom of speech as an US-based journalist and have to be carried out in a series of suitcases.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

Like hastily recruited, untrained armies committing atrocities in war. ICE is hiring financially desperate, angry, unqualified people with cash bonuses and throwing them into this job. Of course it’s going to look like Japan sending furious, hungry peasants to Nanjing.
A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

I misread this as the”Elon Detention Center.” We should make these ghouls put their family legacy on the line and name each ICE detention center after a local MAGA politician or booster that supports the unconstitutional, immoral, and cruel immigration policies.
I’m on my way back to the Eloy Detention Center in Arizona. I’m going to check on my constituent, Yari, who is sick with leukemia, and demand that ICE release the results of her October oncology visit.

Crazy timeline! In one post, Fox personality in horror about NYC electing a communist, and democrats coming to bow to him - both are lies. Then like 3 posts down, Trump publicly admiring the unquestioning deference to actual communist PRC leader Xi. Just wild.
Trump on President Xi: "During the meeting, he's here, and he's got about 6 people on each side. And every one of those people were at attention. And I made a comment to one of them and it got no response. And President Xi didn't let him. I said, I want my cabinet to behave like that."

Curtis Sliwa is a crazy reactionary but at least he believes in multi-ethnic, multi-racial democracy, and I wouldn't want on my record that I didn't congratulate the first Muslim mayor of NYC but fucking Curtis Sliwa did
Zohran Mamdani says on NY1 he didn't get a congratulatory call from either Andrew Cuomo or Eric Adams last night.

He says he got a congratulatory call from Curtis Sliwa, though.
