It’s as if the media has been beaten into submission. We need more journalists who are willing to punch back right now. They let too much slide now.

Marc Fogel coming back from Russia is great but the idea that Trump gave very little or nothing in return doesn’t pass the smell test. Putin never gives something for nothing. What did he really give and why isn’t the media asking this question?

In authoritarian dictatorships the law is not applied evenly. Allies of the leader get shown favor while enemies are punished. This is just confirmation that the DOJ under the Trump admin is going to be exactly what we feared. This really is unprecedented. Due process was forgone due to cronyism.

In a time where we have seen people die because of misinformation they have consumed, moderation is absolutely necessary.
I was interviewed at CES this morning. We mentioned that consumers will decide whether they want to be on a platform that is “unfiltered free speech “ or “ moderated”. I mentioned that I loved @bsky.app , and spontaneously people started clapping 🔥.
