there’s a sentiment to “be careful what you wish for” @ thfbs campaign comparing it to movies that never got made for complicated production/budget/creative differences. that’s not what happened here. director/writers were completely synchronized with lucasfilm. it’s cancellation was unprecedented
There is a documentary called THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN LIVES, which is all about the Tim Burton/Nic Cage Superman film that never got made. From EVERYTHING thing we see about this film, I feel would have easily been the worst and most divisive Superman ever…
