Progressives are addicted to feeling holier than thou. Conservatives are addicted to triggering folks (being an -ist or a -phobic) and confirming their biases. People are addicted to drama and those who feel they’ve accomplished nothing in life feel they accomplish a lot on SM.
There’s not much on social media for me to be excited for or constantly on my phone for. I turn off most notifications, have a couple “focus” settings on. I have twitter communities I go to when I want to talk about shows but …I don’t see how people are still addicted..
