Apparently, being a John Lewis customer entitles me to see their new Christmas ad before it goes public. What the bloody hell have I done to deserve such cruel and unusual punishment?

Sad to see Val Kilmer has left us. Of all the great films he starred in - Top Gun, Heat, Batman, The Doors, etc., to me, he will always be Nick Rivers (not Mel Torme).

ICM's 1/72 'Molch' midget submarine, Simple but maddening, as some panel lines were engraved and some raised. First time engraving them, more practise required.

The Academy 1/35 M2 Bradley, as seen in 'The Pentagon Wars' (although it wasn't a real Bradley. The tools shouldn't be on there, but it was too late when I realised. Tried to match the odd shade of green used in the film.

Film tip - The Gorge. A very enjoyable flick. Miles Teller, Anya Taylor-Joy ( oh, and Sigourney Weaver), great script, good effects, bit of romance, good soundtrack too. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Well, there's a first; the James Webb Space Telescope account blocked me after asking them to stop spamming the timeline with the same every post every sodding minute.

Just watched the first 16 minutes of Star Trek: Section 31 and gave up out of sheer boredom.

So glad I had all my jabs, um. Started with a cough on Saturday, shivering got so bad yesterday evening it was all I could do to grab my duvet and wrap myself up in it. Feel better now, but I'm as weak as a kitten. Good job I'm working from home this morning.

I seem to have upset the Nigel Farage fan club - so let me be clear.

This man sows hate, lies and division.

He is a grifter and a conman.

He does not represent the vast majority of Britons.

Repost if you agree

P.s. multiculturalism is great.

Thankfully I didn't have to sign for my Evri delivery just now; I guess ringing doorbells isn't within their remit. Just leave it on the doorstep and email me, um. Fortunately, the kit inside (MiniArt T-44)survived attempts at crushing and soaking.
