ever since I learned about three-cueing I've developed infinitely more patience for replies on social media. mfers literally do not know how to read. people are walking around conjuring random meanings into words they don't know, and they don't know a lot of words. it's crazy

I'm watching a vid on Silksong and they're saying Dark Souls 1 had a 'bad' opening section (firelink) because, while there are multiple paths, there's only one you can fully pursue. Thus the others are 'fake' and it's a 'guess' as to whether you have a 'good' or 'awful' time...

Finished Lucky Day and thought about census data I combed while in college that had surprised me with how prevalent feelings of hopelessness were in the population at the time, and how many stories I've encountered since then whose core message is not to despair, in bolder and bolder fonts.
