The fact that no one went around trying to destroy steam, yet ppl are flippin out at itch and lowering contributions w/them when it’s the credit card networks’ fault is very telling. Kid w/ a bat smashing anything _they could_ smash behavior

i do like the idea of calling Mastercard to yell at them tho. if 1000 bored TERFs in Australia can make this happen, surely the gooner army can mobilize to push back. even if it doesn't end in a policy change, i generally think credit card companies should live in mortal fear of what they've wrought
