Odegaard has his flaws but it's wrong to focus on that when what he brings to the table is invaluable to Arsenal because of the game states they typically engineer via their play.

I've built a Football Tactics feed which I'm going to start populating with some of the best tactical accounts on here. It's a curated feed which means only posts which are specifically tagged will go into it so it should be a pretty clean.

Kovacic finding himself in the Anchors CAT shows how much a player’s role can impact the extent to which they can utilize their skillset. He’s a lot more progressive than some of the names in the Controllers CAT, but he’s had to rein in his carrying due to the different demands of his new role.

This is an interesting point. I think the general impression is that better teams get away with it a lot more often due to the inability of their opponents to take their chances at around the rate that would even out the variance given their obvious lack of quality.
I wonder how the sustainability of xG over and under-performance streaks differs in weaker leagues / leagues with a larger quality gap

Given the assumption of a basic finishing level in the model

I haven’t done any public work in the last two years, and a big part was due to the denigration of X into the thing it became. But this platform presents a lifeline to start all over again, and I’m excited about this possibility.

Everything in our culture atm is geared towards efficiency, particularly when it comes to the consumption of information and while this may sound controversial, reading a book in its entirety is rarely ever necessary — a lot of it is typically redundant or superficial stuff.
