I’m not saying don’t hang out with your family on the 27th, just maybe don’t call it thanksgiving. We all need to remember that thanksgiving is really nothing more than political theater to whitewash the oppression and genocide of Native Americans.

If a governor wants to activate their state's national guard using their state's payroll to conduct law enforcement in their own state -- that's one thing.
If those troops are however federalized, paid from US Treasury or sent to another state without that gov's permission, it violates federal law.
