I'd venture politely to suggest that if the EHRC had done its job and written a code that was about the law rather the pursuit of an anti-trans ideological agenda duty bearers would be better able to do what she urges upon them.

On #WorldMentalHealthDay this is what The Wales Alliance for Mental Health & young people we work with are asking the next Welsh Government - it’s not just about the mental health system our Govt needs to end child poverty, address inequality & take a social justice approach to mental health
As part of the Wales Alliance for Mental Health, we're calling on the next Welsh government to prioritise mental health. And, working closely alongside young people, we've built a manifesto for their futures.

Over a third of us in the UK struggle with our mental health, so readily available, open-access support is essential.

Our Seibiant Sanctuary crisis support, and our Hangout drop-in for young people, are examples of this in action.

Community is a mental health intervention.

Which is why we’re exploring trauma informed community development work here at @platfform.org

The solutions to our mental health crisis are not within the NHS mental health systems gift to resolve. 💙

Keeping people in poverty is an expensive luxury.

It hurt when I crashed my bike into a pothole – and it taught me the true price of austerity | George Monbiot
Fixing that hole could have cost under £100; the cost of not doing so is limitless. My prang highlights the neoliberal folly of false economies, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

If Farage wins the next election, it will be down to one person. His name is Keir Starmer.
This thread explains why.
1. Destroying faith in democracy. The UK decisively voted out the Tories, only for Starmer to give us a Continuity Tory government, shamefully beholden to economic power.

Yet another capitulation to Reform, when all the evidence shows that following the far right agenda is a disaster for centrist parties. Politics 101, which Starmer has once again entirely failed to grasp.
Oh nothing, just the actual Prime Minister telling people they’re entirely correct to drive asylum seekers out of their communities

We ALL deserve to feel safe and have dignity: in work, in a pub, in a shop.

And this report shows it affects cis people too!
TW.
Needs to be widely shared with cisgender people, especially politicians. Utterly horrifying that Britain has come to this- that most of Britain is just looking the other way while a whole community is being eliminated from society because of lies and hatred. transactual.org.uk/wp-content/u...

Hugely insightful commentary from Dr. Breaux Torres on how traditional charity structures interact with our ability to meaningfully be anti-racist. We’re honoured to be cited as a charity taking a deep-rooted approach. We believe this is how you break the cycle of spiralling poor mental health.
