Asking an AI agent to write your code is a lot like asking some person on fiverr to bang out some code for you. It'll cost you a few bucks, perhaps, in tokens and you have to scrutinize the hell out of the code you get back. but it beats working for a living.

I just learned that back in the day, TLC (The Learning Channel) was in the process of creating a programming block called Medical Mondays. They already had shows like ER, Grey's Anatomy, and House. NBC heard about it and offered Scrubs. But TLC turned them down because TLC don't want no Scrubs.

Reading a HN thread, I was reminded of the missed opportunity flutter has been for google. When dart 1 turned out to be a steaming pile, they had a chance to leverage the hordes of kotlin developers already making android apps. Instead they invented yet another language.

It's finally here! JRuby 10 has been released with support for Ruby 3.4 (including 3.2 and 3.3 updates as well). Minimum Java version has been bumped up to Java 21, allowing us to support modern JVM features. Check out the release notes and start migrating today!

Found a fun bug in the new #assassinscreed. If you try to go up a hill that's too steep, you'll slide back down. But you can steer and if you steer just right, you can slide up the hill.
