After a bit of struggle, I finally managed to port Jason Webb's experiment (with p5js) on differential growth to OPENRNDR. It's still "raw," but I'm happy with those early results since I'm a beginner in Kotlin & OPENRNDR.

I'm trying for the 1st time to implement an L-system that simulates a plant using "The Algorithmic Beauty of Plants" book and I love it. The rules are simple, yet they produce complex drawing quickly.

Just published my first data-visualization video! It represents the top 20 billionaires' wealth evolution between 2001 and 2024: www.youtube.com/shorts/4Nr2B...

I've been experimenting with #openrndr for the first time and I love how performant it is compared to what I've experimented with Py5 in my last genuary post below.

It runs smoothly at 60 FPS where it took several seconds per frame on py5 for almost the same algorithm.

Hello everyone! This is my first post here, so I'd like to introduce myself. I'm a developer who recently started learning how to create video animations using various techniques. I'll mostly share my creations and interesting generative art or animations I discover.
