The heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising fought for freedom and dignity in the face of unimaginable horror.

Today, like so many across Poland, we hold a daffodil in remembrance of their bravery.

Their memory compels us to stand firm against antisemitism and hatred in all its forms.

I welcome the election of MEP Alice Teodorescu Måwe as Chair of @europarl.europa.eu Working Group Against #Antisemitism & I look forward to continue the fruitful collaboration with EP-WGAS.

It is imperative to remain united as antisemitism is alarmingly on the rise.
