14 prisons, not 7 … 🫣

Just what I needed to hear today! I working on a book based on a qualitative study of 7 prisons - so many amazing conventions and quotes and I am including more than what is the norm. Because it humanises people who live and work in prisons and who are usually hidden. Will persist!

I am lucky enough to be on sabbatical this semester so most of my time is spent writing a book or two and some articles. Not much to report until full drafts are done. In the meantime, my writing companion Astrid says hello to all Bluesky people!

Have now made the move to Bluesky and will start building my network again here. More content to come soon!
