I've seen claims like "over 50% of internet users are bots, so chances are the person you're interacting with isn't real" and... No, come on, that's not how it works.
I mean, even if 90% of internet users are bots, that doesn't mean there is a 90% chance the person you're interacting with is a bot.

Playing Baten Kaitos again. It's been a long time, almost two decades, and I'd totally forgotten (spoiler alert) about the whole thing with the protagonist for the first half of the game deceiving everyone (including the player) and revealing himself a villain.

The word "smorgasbord" is such a funny loan word to me. In Swedish the word (smörgåsbord) just means a buffet of sandwiches. It's an ordinary yet not that often used word.
But English took it and turned it into a *metaphor*. And it's used way more often in English, since it's a much broader term.

I think my least favorite thing about Linux is how sometimes something just fills out all available disk space, and figuring out what it is gets really hard because performance tanks when there is no free space

I would probably pick up go again if any queer friends were into it. I just kinda lost interest because of it being so tied to my pre-transition social life.
Plus I kinda lost my competitiveness when I transitioned, and lost my cognitive functioning when burnout happened
