The US DOT has awarded $5B to projects to rebuild, repair and restore 13 large, critically important US bridges. The latest awards are Large Bridge Grants, a subset of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act’s Bridge Investment Program.

Without new sources of water, by 2030 Panama will be unable to meet the needs of both the canal and the population, officials say. That makes constructing the $1.6B reservoir in the the projected six-year timeframe absolutely critical.

Mortenson has been tapped as the construction manager on the $1.3B MLB stadium. If approved by St. Petersburg officials, work is slated to begin in January.
