Tonight, I will deliver a special address on the state of Boston Public Schools.

At BPS, we put our students at the center of the class and take them on a journey of learning and self-discovery. I hope you will join us live at 7 p.m. to hear about the progress we have made together. #BostonSOTS

We’re here tonight because the state of our schools is the state of our city’s future.

We’re here to celebrate our incredible @bostonschools.boston.gov community.

And we’re here because Boston is a city that refuses to settle or sit back. #BostonSOTS

And let me be clear: The CEOs who tried and failed to oust Wu are wrong about the economics, as usual. Having a safe, fair, climate-resilient city is always *good for business*
Don't sleep on Michelle Wu, one of this country's most quietly effective climate leaders, cruising to a second term in Boston. It's telling that business interests tried and failed to stop her and are pouting about it now

It's not just Mamdani. Michelle Wu, Katie Wilson--the Dems may soon have a remarkable cast of young, gifted mayors

Can Progressive Mayors Redeem the Democratic Party?
Zohran Mamdani isn’t the only candidate challenging the status quo—and having fun doing it.

“Silence in the face of oppression is not an option. The U.S. Attorney General asked for a response by today. So here it is…Stop attacking our cities to hide your administration's failures.”

Donald Trump has proven that politicians today can get away with ignoring basic transparency & avoid accountability on personal financial interests, conflicts & entanglements. I’ve been disclosing financials since before Trump & still believe in good government. Here’s why it matters in this race:🧵
Josh Kraft has yet to disclose his 2024 tax return — in fact, he's filing late
In May, the Kraft campaign said it would release his tax returns “in the near future.” But now the campaign says the candidate had asked the IRS for a six-month filing extension.

Huge for Dorchester! Made my weekend 22 mile bike ride from Dorchester, up to Castle Island and back down through Dorchester to Mattapan Sq and back possible. Shoutout to the harbor walk and neponset trail—making biking feel safe on (beautiful coastal and tree-lined) bike paths!

18,000+ students in 5th quarter learning programs across 250 sites (more than ever before), 10,000+ paid youth summer jobs, AND free summer meals to stay healthy, active & learning all summer long ☀️
While summer meal programs like this one should be commonplace in US cities, it feels revolutionary at this moment in time. Thank you Mayor Wu for reminding us what real leadership looks like.👏👏👏
Young people in Boston can get free meals all summer long. Visit boston.gov/summereats to find a Boston Summer Eats location near you.

President Trump’s so-called Big Beautiful Bill is an attack on the people of Boston. The President and his supporters in Congress are jamming a bill through that will steal health insurance and food assistance from thousands of Boston families while giving massive tax cuts to billionaires.

And huge props to @bradlander.bsky.social for being a true leader, fighter & coalition-builder 🙌
WBUR's @thebrodybeat.bsky.social asked Boston Mayor Michelle Wu about the NYC race and Zohran Mamdani on Monday, after Mamdani recently pointed to Wu as a model.

"If New York is to have that kind of leadership, that would be a really thrilling thing to be able to partner," Wu said.
