from a product perspective, we were all opted in to beta test AI without being asked

if i should distrust and double-check the information an AI service gives me, the service is not market ready

when was the last time the WORLD was forcefully opted-in to test a broken product for a megacorporation

i believe in magic, insofar as i believe it can be helpful to find direction and calm in ritual, intention setting, and guidance, even if it comes from a card pulled by chance

however, i did a tarot reading last night and it was so specifically geared to my situation that maybe magic is real????

i finally reached peak anxiety and invented enough pretend problems that the most effective, kindest, truest advice my partner could give me was: 'i really just think you need to chill out'

i've not felt better in months 💆✌️ remember kids: sometimes it really do not be that serious

i learned crochet for fun, but also because i loved the idea of making crocheted gifts

well, i think i crocheted too close to the sun because i have at least four crochet gifts i need to make between now and christmas, and one of them will be the hardest pattern i've attempted yet 🧶

if you are a dentist who hasn't worked on someone with oral piercings before, may i suggest: ask your patient if there's anything you should be careful of

ideally before shoving a lip guard in their mouth, catching their piercing, and declaring 'i've never worked on someone with a piercing before!'

i used to feel driven to 'have a style'. the advice is: 'it comes with practise'. i wonder if others see an artistic through-line in these pieces that i don't!!

anyone had issues with their PC blue-screening unless it's power cycled before turning on?

unplugged my PC recently, and since plugging it back in, i have to power cycle it before booting or it gets stuck in an 'attempting to repair' loop

no idea where to start apart from reinstalling my drivers 😰

many autistic people are told they have a 'formal' way of speaking, including myself

the medical field tends to put this down to a misunderstanding of what dialect is 'appropriate', or a limited vocabulary

(this is why i find i'm a better formal communicator than a lot of non-autistic folks...

i had to learn the skill actively and learn it well, or risk being socially ostracised. i was not born with the ability to innately absorb the habits of my family or friends, for better and for worse)! (5 / 8)

i am finally able to have the rigid routine i've been craving my entire life. my autism is FREE 🦅
Screenshot of a calendar. Monday to Thursday - Emma's working days - are entirely time blocked, covering waking up, exercising, eating, working, 'free slots', and going to bed. Friday and the weekends don't include the free slots or work, but still feature some time-blocking.

do i have a rigid routine? the questionnaire lets me say yes (the autistic answer), maybe, or no
