Our military service personnel signed up to give their lives for our country. If the worst case happened, they would expect their loved ones to be taken care of. But no. The government has now introduced a new 40% tax on the ‘death in service’ benefit to be paid by grieving families.

The ‘windfall tax’ is the energy price levy is a 25% rise which is intended to support households struggling with high gas and energy prices.

I don’t understand why this guy feels this is okay. The man in question is serving 18 months for contempt of court for refusing to stop spreading misinformation and false claims about a Syrian refugee. In the UK. Not in the US. The UK courts found him guilty.

Great vegan menu at Verdo Lounge in Wylde Green. Food was fantastic. I had the Moroccan aubergine flatbread and a cappuccino with coconut milk.

Greggs Vegan Sausage Roll. They always sell out in every Greggs shop throughout the UK. Each time I come back here, I celebrate that more and more people choose them and I don’t mind having to wait for them to cook. Collectively people are driving chance and making this choice.

Vegan pulled jackfruit enchiladas from Chiquitas at Gun Wharf in Portsmouth. Having a little day trip ‘down south’. Weather is grey and foggy, but it’s been a nice visit.

The ease and accessibility of vegan ‘food-to-go’ in the UK never fails to make me happy. I’m not saying this is a healthy choice, but when on the road it fills its requirement (and was super tasty too!)
