This is (still more) absolutely horrific news. Thanks to robust government funding and action in the last couple of decades HIV has become a completely manageable condition with no transmission when medicated.
The Trump administration is planning to completely eliminate the CDC Division of HIV Prevention, cutting $700 million that should be used to prevent HIV infections and control HIV the HIV epidemic.
