Really interesting thread. I was diagnosed as autistic in September. For me, it's helped me to make sense of a life where I've often felt weird, or other. I'm able to express my need for accommodations with less guilt. But there IS a blurry line. I could have social anxiety. 1/2
1. There's going to be a lot of talk about over or under diagnosis and the conversation is going to be a mess.
This is because how ADHD and ASD are defined has shifted. An ADHD diagnosis today isn't the same thing as an ADHD diagnosis ten years ago.
