I’m 65. My daughter just told me she didn’t want to spend Xmas with me, because I was drinking too much last year. She was right. I was wrong. I’ve spent the last year getting straight. I thought I taught my children to be kind and forgiving. Sadly, they won’t give their own mother any grace.

Stagflations; I was hoping it would only be a concept I had to teach in High School Economics class, not that I’d have to live through it! The Reagan recession left us all even worse off. I could barely afford to raise 2 kids in Michigan, with 2 incomes! Reagan HURT this country so badly.

Was just hugging my neighbor & telling her where I’ve hidden my key, in case ICE is in the neighborhood. I hugged her as she cried for her husband & children. She’s afraid to leave her house. You could NOT ask for better neighbors! Her husband takes care of my lawn cuz I’m mildly disabled. FU TRUMP!

I have made lifelong friends on a tour of Egypt and Jordan. Some from the tour itself, but some from
the people I met along the way. I feel as if I needed more time to bond with people where I traveled. I met two very dear friends in Jordan, in Petra and Wadi Rum. A real joy!!

So, gave myself LOADS of time before my flight to Istanbul, and of COURSE the flight is delayed. Also, bad idea to have drinks last night. Ended up forgetting my hat and spare shoes. I’m off on a trip I’ve dreamt of since I was very little and would flip through the pages of our Encyclopedia set!
