Time for @elinorpotts.bsky.social from @lsepress.bsky.social to give her presentation: ‘Dare to boast! In defence of book marketing and celebrating wins’

#OAWeek2025 #Publishing
I'm giving a talk at the @oipassoc.bsky.social symposium!

My presentation argues for marking victories in open access and makes the radical proposition it's what Schopenhauer would have wanted (ft pessimistic quotes in cheugy fonts)

No idea what that means? Register to find out 💅 #EllieLovesCanva

I cannot overstate how much accessing Brighton and Hove Libraries as a child in the late 90s / early 00s fundamentally shaped who I am and informed my career in book publishing.

❌❌ Shame on Brighton and Hove City Council for trying to cut a vital service.
