Once you've been in this space (the xiv fandom) enough you start to notice everything happens in a cyclical order over and over and every other semester feels like déjà vu. You ask yourself "hasn't this happened last year?" and the answer will be yes. And the year before as well.

not sure how many know since it was news to a friend when i told them, but you can move dalamud windows to another screen if you have multiple monitors. it helps with stuff like gpose as many plugins are on-screen at the same time
open dalamud > settings > look & feel > enable multi-monitor-windows

everyone has their own stylistic preferences, but i will always prefer carrds/rp profiles that are geared more in terms of an introduction to a character and potential hooks rather than an encyclopedia of their entire life's story. brevity is beautiful
