A new YouGov/Economist poll (July 4–7) found Trump’s support among Americans making $50K–$100K a year has dropped sharply. ✅ Only 42% approve ❌ 56% disapprove 📉 That’s a net approval of -14 points Middle class voters are turning away as Trump faces backlash over his Pro-Corporate “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which hurts working families by slashing safety nets and favoring the wealthy breaking his promises to help them. A federal judge in New Hampshire just blocked Trump’s executive order that would end birthright citizenship for babies born in the U.S. to undocumented parents. Judge Joseph Laplante said stripping these children of citizenship would cause “irreparable harm.” His ruling puts a nationwide pause on the order for seven days and allows the case to move forward as a class action lawsuit. The ACLU filed the case just hours after a Supreme Court decision allowed class action challenges. The class includes all babies born in the U.S. after February 20, 2025, to undocumented parents. The order could leave thousands of U.S.-born children stateless. The Trump administration claims it’s constitutional under the 14th Amendment. The fight isn’t over but this is a major legal blow to Trump’s immigration agenda. #Immigration #BirthrightCitizenship #Trump #gop #republican
