So I started with a similar core to what I had last season, expect I replaced Eternal Flower Floette with Xerneas. Easy choice tbh, I'm fine going without a Mega this format. Excadrill is amazing with ground/steel, and Zard beats the steels!

Just reached A rank again in ZA, I get the combat isn’t for everyone. It’s pretty complex and hard to grasp, but over all I think it’s fun and amazingly designed.
Esp as people get better, it’s so nice to see mashing isn’t good. Instead positioning and good use of plus moves are what matter!

I love this game combat system, I’ve made no secret of that. I truly think it is an amazing combat system. PVP with it is so fun and exciting, and the battles in story mode are a really good difficulty

I really do feel like that ZA just really hit a peak. I also get it’s not for everyone, because the combat isn’t for everyone, and just mashing will just make you lose more often than not.
But I generally really love the difficulty, the story, and how pokemon chose to use real time combat
