Just a quick post to let you know about the seasonal art shows coming up in the Comox Valley! Wow, November is a busy month here in the beautiful Comox Valley for the Arts. I just spent some time setting up my space at Pearl Ellis Gallery for the 2 week Giftables Show, Nov 11-22nd, 2025. There are at least 40 artists/Artisans involved.

Scheduled to show in the upcoming YQQ juried art show - Nov 19th to April 15th I loved working on this piece. The story unfolds as I allowed the organic shapes, strong colours, softened edges and a variety of texture make this an intriguing almost human-like image. A diptych comprised of two panels on gallery depth stretched canvas. Panel on left is 24" x 24" and the one on the right is 24" x 18" (24" x 42" total).

Working on a series called On the Edge of the Pond over this last year has largely been inspired by the natural waterways I've come across while hiking and kayaking. My intention is to create images that depict small bodies or sections of water which tell a story about the depth, texture and complexity of water in nature. 16" x 16" on stretched regular depth canvas framed ask me about the unframed price.
