We went red for a moment; money from Buy Me a Coffee came in and saved us, but only for one week.

Playing with Linear MCP, CCPM, and Claude Code. CCPM is the philosophy, but instead of using github, i use Linear for documentation, and prioritization.

Just like any developer:
- i don’t like to write documentation
- i like to code and need to watch out for scope/function creep

But this helps!

Lol, my son (5) filled in a ‘friend book’ of a classmate today. One question was: ‘what is your favorite thing at school’.

His answer: ‘eating bread’ :)

This week was amazingly productive and a lot of fun, thnx to vibe coding and the #doevent.

But now … i’m done. Weekend.

Gonna tune in for SEO Office Hours, and after that it’s family time

Shit, just heard about the passing of @alanbleiweiss.bsky.social a friendly welcoming guy, no rockstar vibes at all (though he was one, did you see his hair in the 70s?), and definitely one to have in your team when fighting for the good cause. You will be missed :(

Started a variant of intermittent fasting today, and am already having a hard time.

Still, so far, so good though.

They say it’s healthy to sometimes let your fat westerneuropean priviliged body experience a small bit of hunger, so there goes.

I wonder how far (not far?) i can take this :)

Pro tip: if you are creating filters in Google Search Console to track branded impressions/clicks... you might also want to exclude the word "evaluate" 😅

2/2 because outside the news, many, many, many people are working to fix the problems. Investing time, energy, and money in it. Helping others.

You can see it, if you look.

They’re just not in the news.
August 24, 2025 at 7:48 AM
1/2 Have we, as humanity, reached our peak? Are we smart enough to deal with the real problems we’re facing, most notably climate change?

The news is filled with stupid people for sure. But i’m not talking about them. What’s ‘new’ isn’t important and vice versa.

My answer: yes we are 💪🏼

2/2 h/t to folks like dorron shapow (is he on bluesky?), @jlwchambers.bsky.social @hellemans.me renee bigelow (same q) who i talk with about this every tuesday on bstime.

We love to use embeddings and talk a lot about llms but keep our eyes on the prize
June 28, 2025 at 8:11 AM
1/2 Embeddings are cool & useful, they are. I use them because of it.

But it’s not about them. It’s about human behavior that it tries to influence. That is and remains the end goal.

As an SEO, I’d say you better spend your time with things like consumer psychology, audience research, ux/cro, etc.
